A standard fridge unit sits proud on the roof. A recessed condenser pod sits down into the roofline instead.

Why that matters

  • Height: car parks, loading bays, height barriers. A few inches decides whether you get in or turn around.
  • Airflow: it sits cleaner in the airstream, so you’re not dragging a box through the air all day.
  • Fuel: less drag, less diesel.
  • Looks: a much tidier van, which matters if it’s carrying your branding.

One thing to know: it has to be specced before the conversion. It can’t be retrofitted to a van that’s already been converted, so if you want it, tell us at the start.

Ask us whether it’s worth it for the routes you run. Call us on 01444 245555.
