50 years of refrigerated vans
GRV 4 Fridge Vans is the trading name of King Brothers (Finance) Ltd, a Burgess Hill company set up in February 1976. Fifty years on we’re still here at KBF House on Victoria Road, and we still do one thing: supply chiller and freezer vans to businesses across the UK.
In that time we’ve sold thousands of vans, and about two-thirds of our sales are to customers who have bought from us before.
Where it started
King Brothers (Finance) Ltd was incorporated on 24 February 1976 (Companies House number 01245747). KBF House, our home at 55 Victoria Road, Burgess Hill, takes its name from the company.
Over the decades the business grew into a specialist in temperature-controlled vans, and it’s still run by the King family today. Five decades of selling and converting fridge vans means we’ve seen most things a van can do, and most things that can go wrong with one.
What we do today
We sell new and used refrigerated vans, from a Mercedes Citan to a long-wheelbase Sprinter, as chillers or freezers. New vans come as cancelled factory orders ready to go, or built to your spec. Used vans are already converted and ready to work.
When we convert a van, we insulate it (50mm for a chiller, 75mm for a freezer) and fit a refrigeration unit from GAH, Thermo King, Hubbard or Zanotti. Our engineers check every van before it leaves us, and our vans come with a 12 to 24-month warranty.
Finance is available for business and personal customers from a £500 +VAT deposit, on hire purchase or lease. We take part exchanges, and delivery is free anywhere in the UK.
