Medicines, vaccines and other temperature-sensitive healthcare products have to stay within strict temperature limits from the warehouse to the pharmacy, surgery or patient. At GRV4 Fridge Vans we supply refrigerated vans for pharmacies, pharmaceutical wholesalers and healthcare couriers, and we help you choose a van that holds the temperature your products need.
Temperature control you can rely on
Many medicines must be kept between +2°C and +8°C, and others at a controlled room temperature. Our refrigerated vans can work anywhere from +21°C down to -25°C, depending on the fridge unit we specify, so we set the van up around the range your products need.
Records and paperwork
We can supply a calibration certificate for the van’s temperature display. It helps with the temperature records your own quality procedures ask for.
Useful options
- Electric standby, so the fridge can run with the engine off while the van is parked up and loaded.
- Curtains across the doorway, to hold the temperature on every drop.
- Fixed partition or moveable bulkhead, to keep fridge lines apart from ambient stock.
- Load lock rails along both side walls, to keep totes and boxes secure.
- LED lights in the load space.
Small, medium or large
A small van suits pharmacy deliveries and courier rounds; wholesale routes usually need a medium or large van. Small vans include the Citan, Kangoo and Transit Connect; medium vans the Transit Custom, Trafic and Vito; and large vans the Sprinter, Crafter, Master and Transit 350. We help you choose by looking at the inside size after conversion and the payload, not just the size of the van.
New and used, with finance
We keep new and used fridge and freezer vans in stock and ready to go, and we can build one to order. We offer competitive finance for business and personal customers, take part exchanges, and can arrange delivery anywhere in the UK.
