- Small: city multi-drop, light loads, tight streets and parking. Cheapest to run. Small fridge vans.
- Medium: the sweet spot for most trades. A proper round without becoming a chore to park. Medium fridge vans.
- Large (MWB): 3 pallets, and more payload than you’d expect. Often the better buy if your load is heavy.
- Large (LWB): 4 pallets. Worth knowing: on a Sprinter the LWB does 4, but on most other makes you need to step up to extra long wheelbase for the same. Large fridge vans.
The bit people get wrong
Going longer doesn’t always mean carrying more. A MWB will often take more weight than a LWB, so if your load is heavy, the bigger van can actually be the worse choice.
Tell us what you’re carrying and how you load it, and we’ll tell you what actually fits. Call us on 01444 245555.
