The Mercedes-Benz Citan is a small van, ideal for local deliveries and town-centre work. The current Citan is built alongside the Renault Kangoo.
It comes in L1 and L2 lengths, and the 110 CDI is a popular engine for a fridge or freezer conversion.
Every conversion has a fully insulated load space with a hygienic, easy-to-clean interior, built as a chiller or a freezer. Popular extras include a side loading door, curtains across the doorway, a fixed partition or moveable bulkhead, pallet runners, load lock rails, LED lights, electric standby and a recessed condenser pod.
Mercedes Citans from 2016 on are Euro 6 diesels, so they’re ULEZ and Clean Air Zone compliant.
