- Temperature Chiller, to keep drinks cold
- Deciding factor Payload after conversion
- Worth adding Pallet runners, load lock, curtains
Payload first
Every make and model has its own payload after conversion, and whether it’s a chiller or a freezer affects it too. Tell us what you carry and how much, and we’ll recommend the van that carries it legally, not just the one it fits in.
Options for drinks deliveries
- Pallet protection runners, aluminium strips on the floor, if pallets go in and out.
- T-bar protection bumper, to protect the back of the van when it’s loaded by forklift.
- Load lock rails, bolted along the sides, with spring-loaded poles, to stop the load moving.
- Side and rear door curtains, to hold the temperature on multi-drop rounds.
- A side loading door, so you can reach the front of the load without unloading the back.

The right size
We help you choose by the payload and the inside size after conversion. Small vans include the Mercedes Citan and Ford Transit Connect; medium vans the Ford Transit Custom, Renault Trafic and Mercedes Vito; and large vans the Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, Renault Master and Citroën Relay.
